a.k.a the T.I.C.C., the Institute or even just the 'tute!
Welcome to the Tayside Institute Community Centre website.
The Tayside Institute is situated in the centre of Newburgh, a spectacular location in Fife on the south shore of the River Tay, within easy reach of Perth, Dundee, St Andrews and Glenrothes, and only 45 miles from Edinburgh.
It is a large, busy building here in Newburgh and we have a range of activities taking place in our various rooms. We try our upmost to cater for all ages and abilities, having sports clubs, youth clubs, craft club, adult learning and also groups with their own specific hobbies/interests! Have a look at our Centre Programme for the latest offerings.
We house the Library and Heritage Centre as well as having a designated Learning Centre where you can hire a computer with internet access by the hour.
Our lovely rooms are also available to hire by the public, from our Main Hall, an ideal venue for larger functions, to our Lesser Hall and Committee Room that offer spaces for smaller gatherings. Please take a look at our Room Hire page for details and charges.
Our friendly staff are here to make your visit a pleasant one
